Anguish.

This is definitely not the happiest blog post I have ever written, however I simply cannot keep this information to myself. I truly felt compelled to share this with anyone who will look at this, and to beg you to join me in getting on your knees in prayer for the nations around the world.

As believers who claim Christ we by very definition of who we are make up a body, the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:4) We are not individuals, rather a small part of something so much greater than ourselves. How can we turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to suffering and death...We simply cannot.

As David Wilkerson says, growth, and transformation come from ANGUISH. Oh believers, how guilty I am of living my life, comfortably, without ever giving thought to anyone but myself. Shame on us for chasing after trivial things that have no impact on the Kingdom. May be be brought to our knees by our sin, and the Lord's grace. And may this motivate us to action for the Heavenly Father.

I just wanted to share some Scripture with you, because praise the Lord His Word is truth (John 17:17), my words mean absolutely nothing if they are not based on His Word.

"Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ" Philippians 1:27

"Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but seek to understand what the will of the Lord is." Ephesians 5:15-17

"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich." 2 Corinthians 8:9

"So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him." 2 Corinthians 5:9

"Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming for us, but our sufficiency is from God." 2 Corinthians 3:5

"Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:9-21

Our calling as Christians is not to be comfortable, but to make Christ's name known. In our homes, work places, as we come and go around town...and in the nations.

"But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God." Acts 20:24

May this be our heart's cry, that our life counts for nothing and that our aim is Christ and making much of his precious name.

Please share these videos if you feel led. These are messages and words that need to be shared in order to exhort fellow believers (Hebrews 3:13) and to spur one another on in love and good works (Hebrews 10:23-24)
